With the two products VBBa and PbS, you get a complete, cost-effective remote control and remote transmission system that is designed to meet the high demands of railway safety and, with the PbS extension, has been specially optimised for operation on rack railways.

- Use of standard hardware and software components (COTS, commercial off-the-shelf)
- FDV-compliant operation with secured routes, even for subsequent journeys
- Train protection with a THR in accordance with SIL 2:
- No more external signals, balises, etc. required
- Driver’s cab signalling in the traction vehicle (fictitious signals)
- Implementation of ATO (Autonomic Train Operation) up to GoA2 (GoA3 and GoA4 with additional on-board equipment)
- Emergency braking in the event of non-compliance with braking curves, exceeding the maximum permissible speed or passing fictitious signals showing STOP.
