SI-TEC now operating under the Actemium brand
Since its foundation in 2007, SI-TEC GmbH has been dedicated to the planning of process and infrastructure facilities. In 2022, the Rheinfelden-based company will join the brand network of Actemium, the industrial brand of VINCI Energies, and will henceforth be able to combine the strengths of a global network with local proximity and connections. SI-TEC GmbH, part of VINCI Energies since 2022, will change its name to Actemium SI-TEC GmbH in January 2026 and will already be operating under the Actemium brand from November 2025.
Actemium covers the entire industrial value chain
SI-TEC GmbH, with over 60 employees and headquarters in Rheinfelden in northwestern Switzerland, was founded in 2007 and has been dedicated to industrial processes and plant planning since its inception. The company has a particularly strong presence in the life sciences, chemicals, and energy sectors. With the acquisition of SI-TEC by VINCI Energies and its entry into the Actemium brand network in Switzerland in 2022, the company has joined a multinational network that recognizes the local strengths of its business units. Actemium brings together more than 400 specialized business units worldwide and offers tailor-made, cross-location and cross-border technology solutions. As a partner throughout the entire industrial life cycle – from planning to maintenance – Actemium promotes innovation and supports the sustainable development of industrial companies.

Andreas Mathiuet, Managing Director of Actemium Switzerland, describes the interaction between SI-TEC and Actemium as follows: “Thanks to SI-TEC’s core competencies in the field of process and plant planning, we can now provide our customers with even more comprehensive support and service across the entire industrial production value chain under the Actemium brand.” It is precisely this interaction within the network, combined with the autonomy of the individual divisions dedicated to automation, process engineering, process and plant planning, and robotics, that sets Actemium apart in Switzerland.
Appearing under the Actemium brand as the logical next step
With the decision to now also operate under the Actemium brand, SI-TEC GmbH is taking the logical next step. Sven Herrmann, Business Unit Manager Actemium SI-TEC, sees advantages in the brand change: “We are proud to now operate under the Actemium brand. Actemium stands for the optimization of industrial performance worldwide. We are moving even closer to this broad network of global expertise, strengthening our innovative power and at the same time continuing to focus on local proximity to our customers.” While the change of name to Actemium SI-TEC GmbH will take place on January 1, 2026, the new brand identity will be implemented as early as November 2025. Sven Herrmann is optimistic about the future: “The rebranding is just the beginning. The history of SI-TEC lives on—under a new name, with new energy and additional innovative strength, but also with the same expertise, reliability, and future orientation. Customers, partners, and employees are invited to join us on this journey.”
